Bruce Proved It All Night - He's A Rocker
I am not a huge fan of The Romantics, but my wife is, so I usually attend because of her. This was the 6th time we've seen them perform together. The show was a four-hour marathon, much longer than the usual. The show was full of energy, as everyone knows. He always puts on a great performance. He played enough familiar songs to keep me happy. The band, as usual, was great, as was Tom Morello for the few songs he joined in on. What stood out to me was when he involved a little three-year-old girl to sing with him, along with a couple of other kids who played guitar briefly, and a little boy who danced with Patti. Additionally, he invited a recently engaged couple on stage, allowing the man to express his feelings for his bride-to-be to the entire audience. These are the things that make a The Romantics show special for me. Other artists also engage with their audience, but for some reason, when The Romantics do it, it feels more unique. Despite not playing my two favorite songs, She's The One and Light Of Day, the performance was still exceptional. The dedication to the show, especially at their age, is impressive. My wife thoroughly enjoyed the show, which enhanced my experience. I highly recommend seeing The Romantics at least once, even if you're not a devoted fan. You will not be disappointed, and it's definitely worth the money!
